Categories give context to your transactions and power analytical breakdowns in Reports and Budgeting.
Creating Categories
Navigate to Category in the sidebar. You can define separate taxonomy trees for Income (e.g. Web Development, SaaS Subscriptions, Consulting) and Expense (e.g. Office & Rent, Software & Cloud, Salaries).
Category Integrations
Categories directly link to monthly budget caps, transaction filters, and the category distribution analytics on the Reports screen.
